What are the most recent appointments in the Benelux?
The terms of office of Belfius CEO, Marc Raisière, and its chairman, Chris Sunt, have been extended until April 2026.
The government-owned bank worried that appointing a new CEO might become increasingly challenging, especially with the upcoming June elections and the possibility of Belgium having only a caretaker government for many months afterward. In addition to its CEO and president, other mandates are extended within Belfius, including those of Lutgart Van den Berghe and Rudi Vander Vennet on the Board of Directors.
